Local Outreach
Edgewood's main local outreach program to the City of Rochester, NY is called Healthy Harvest Ministries.
We are working hard to meet spiritual, physical, and academic needs in our city.
Healthy Harvest

The Healthy Harvest team holds a Bible club and mentors students weekly during the school year.
We work with students and serve the community from our formerly called "Turning Point" now "Edgewood on Plymouth" facility at the corner of South Plymouth and Jefferson Avenues.

Set Free Rochester
Our mission focuses on addressing food insecurity and homelessness—key risk factors for trafficking—through The Pantry and local partnerships.
Edgewood is committed to the fight against human trafficking through our partnership with the Set Free Movement of the Free Methodist Church.

As faithful Christian stewards, we prayerfully administer our church’s tithe by cultivating relationships, providing financial support, and promoting and nurturing impactful missions and ministries.

Open Door Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
We also support their recently opened Coldwater Women & Children Residential Home

Is a faith-based nonprofit that supports women facing unplanned pregnancies. They offer free services like pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, and parenting resources, providing compassionate care and practical support.

We provide scholarship support to those in our Edgewood family who attend college.
Scholarships we have supported or currently support are: Roberts Wesleyan College, Northeastern Seminary, other Free Methodist colleges, and The Charles Finney School.

Global Outreach
The Free Methodist Church has always advocated for the abolition of slavery. We try to support as many Fair-Trade and ethical organizations as we can. We are committed to helping end modern slavery through Eden's Glory, The Set Free Movement and Edgewood's own Set Free Rochester team.

OAKDALE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY

Some of our national outreach programs include a partnership with the Free Methodist Denomination to support Oakdale Christian Academy, a Christian boarding school for at-risk youth in Jackson, Kentucky.

Eden’s Glory is a faith-based recovery home that provides safe housing, healing, and restoration for women who have survived human trafficking.
Through trauma-informed care, counseling, life skills training, and spiritual support, they empower survivors to rebuild their lives in a Christ-centered community.
