Where Does Giving Go?

General funds help us cover a variety of expenses, including staffing, property maintenance, equipment, office and administrative supplies, daily operational expensesand more.

Funding campaigns will typically focus on a special goal or item. For example, our “Thrill to Chill” campaign provided heating and cooling to the EdgeKidz wing in our building.

Healthy Harvest is one of our many social justice ministries. Healthy Harvest, led by urban missionary Morgan Rhodes, provides tutoring and mentoring for children in at-risk parts of the city of Rochester.

Donations help cover expenses for supplies, maintaining our outreach center on South Plymouth Avenue and much more.

Set Free Rochester, another of our local ministries, helps prevent human trafficking in Rochester through education, awareness and meeting the everyday needs of at-risk people through our food pantry and urban gardening. Set Free also helps to make people aware of human trafficking around the world by making people aware of fair-trade products that don’t rely on slave labor.

Donations to this ministry help us support exploited people who can’t speak for themselves in our community and beyond.

We financially support this two-fold ministry, which helps women survivors with its residential housing program and street ministry.

Crisis Response

Through our Good Neighbor Team and our congregation, we provide assistance in conjunction with World Relief in Rochester to local refugees and immigrants from around the world.
