EDGEGROUPS

Our community groups at Edgewood exist to provide:
a place to belong, to be cared for and to grow spiritually

Groups Overview

WHAT ARE EDGEGROUPS?

Edgewood offers a variety of group experiences for people at all ages and stages of their spiritual journey. Our EdgeGroups ministry is led by Pastor Louis, who works with our amazing group leaders to provide support and structure to each group.

The majority of our groups are community groups composed of about 6 to 12 people who meet on a regular basis (virtually or in person) for a time of sharing, study and prayer. We also offer seasonal classes, Bible studies and activity groups.

GROUP FAQ’S

  • Though all EdgeGroups have their own vibe and personalities, in general, EdgeGroups are where we:

    meet

    chat

    pray

study - bible, book, or sermon discussion

  • A group leader cultivates an environment where relationships can grow between its members and between its members and God. They often lead discussions, choose Bible study topics, use icebreakers to help the group open up and then draw them into deeper discussions.

“The New Testament model for a healthy church is large group worship and small group fellowship.”

— Pastor Rick Warren, author of The Purpose-Driven Church
